This position could either be full-time or part-time, depending on candidates’ availability. The right part-time candidate may eventually be transitioned to a full-time role. Remote work may be an option in the long-term but the worker must commit to working side-by-side with the supervisor for a period of 6-months to 1 year. Specific hours of work can be negotiated but will need to remain on a predictable weekly schedule.
Points Consulting (PC) is looking for an economic analyst to assist with a variety of research tasks on our consulting projects for clients in the fields of higher education, economic development, workforce development and real estate analytics. Tasks could include each of the following:
PC is looking for somebody with demonstrable experience with economic analysis and an ingrained desire to understand economic and social issues deeply. Both relevant education and work experience are applicable to this consideration

We are not looking to hire primarily based on educational accomplishment. That said, educational backgrounds with relevant overlap with this role include: economics, finance, business, statistics, public policy, economic/community development, and regional planning.

Points Consulting engages in a wide variety of socioeconomic research and analysis projects. On occasion, we need more resources to complete this work. We regularly use subcontractors provided that they have the skills, time, and initiative to do quality work.Not sure you’re a good fit?No pressure to do a ton of research and put together a cover letter.
