Brian Points
President & Founder
As the President of Points Consulting (PC), Brian takes information, data, and past experiences and translates them into meaningful products for clients. Using available data, he develops models, forecasts, and inferences for use in PC’s projects. He earned his B.A. in History from the University of Idaho, and M.A. in Economics at the University of California. Brian has over 16-years’ experience in managerial consulting, in private and public sectors, and as an economist.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
Finishing a project, walking away for 3-6 months, coming back, and seeing conditions better than when I started working with that client.
What do you enjoy spending the most time doing in your free time?
Mostly just being a husband and a dad. But, I also enjoy cooking, reading fiction/literature, and exploring the west by mountain bike.
Dylan Kluss
Economic Analyst
Dylan has served as an Economic Analyst at PC since May 2024, and helps manage projects, write reports, interact with clients, and collect data, among other project related tasks. His Bachelors of Science in Applied Economics from the University of Idaho has equipped him with a range of quantitative and qualitative skills to carry out research.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
The most inspiring part of my job is knowing that I am helping to create a better future for those in the communities we get a chance to interact with. I love knowing that my work is going to make a tangible impact somewhere in the world around me, near and far.
What do you enjoy spending the most time doing in your free time?
My favorite activities in my free time are to explore the beautiful area that we live in, reading, skiing, playing basketball, trying new hobbies, and spending time with my friends and family.
Mike Manning
Community Planner
Mike is a community planner with more than six years of experience assisting local government with housing, land use, and long-range planning initiatives. Mike works closely with local governments to translate technical analysis into practical, community supported polices that expand housing opportunities while reflecting local priorities. His background spans municipal planning and private consulting, providing him with a strong understanding of both regulatory processes and implementation.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
What inspires me most is the opportunity to help communities recognize their potential and turn big ideas into meaningful, lasting improvements. I love that my work takes me to different places, introduces me to interesting people, and allows me to make a tangible difference in communities across the country.
What do you enjoy spending the most time doing in your free time?
In my free time, I love traveling, exploring new places, attending concerts, and discovering great food and local hangouts. I’m also a big fan of live entertainment, a good audiobook, and finding any excuse for a new adventure.
Robyn Player
Research Analyst
Robyn supports the PC team’s economists and economic analysts through data collection, technical writing, and research, applying her skills in both qualitative and quantitative analysis. She also assists in the coordination of community engagement and stakeholder communication, helping ensure that the perspectives of the communities we work in are meaningfully reflected throughout our analytical process and resulting reports.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
I really enjoy seeing everything come together on a plan or study in a way that is actually usable to a community or client. It’s like finally putting all the pieces together to see the bigger picture.
What do you enjoy spending the most time doing in your free time?
Some of my favorite things are running, hiking and anything that gets me outside. I also enjoy some indoor hobbies like reading, sewing, crocheting, and making music on the piano and fiddle.
Matthew Sandell
Economic Analyst
Matthew joined PC to assist with a wide range of projects, including economic impact analyses, feasibility studies, economic development plans, and housing needs assessments. He is well versed in both quantitative and qualitative research, bringing hard skills in data analysis, GIS, and data modeling.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
I love being able to approach diverse communities with an open mind and use my skills to help them make decisions that positively impact the area. Every project is an opportunity to learn, and through diligent research and collaboration I can leave a positive mark on the region.
What do you enjoy spending the most time doing in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy listening to music, trying new things, and going on adventures, mainly rock climbing with friends and hiking with family.
Abigail Nyhus
Operations Coordinator
Serving as PC’s Operations Coordinator, Abby helps handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, drafting project proposals, contract execution, and social media marketing, as well as project related tasks such as editing and designing reports. She earned her Associate degree in Classical Liberal Arts from New Saint Andrews College in 2020 and joined Points Consulting in 2022.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
Our research helps clients close the gap between ideals and reality – and I love research! I also enjoy honing my graphic design skills and the diversity of my role at PC. I’m never bored!
What do you enjoy spending the most time doing in your free time?
I like to paint and roller skate! Not at the same time though, and usually with epic music playing in the background.
Natalie Evans
Project Assistant
Natalie assists the analysts, economists and operations coordinator with data collection, technical writing, research and organizational tasks. She joined PC in 2024.

What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
I love writing, editing, and learning about diverse regions in the United States. Technical writing should be precise, clear, and enjoyable to read (and written by real humans for other humans). Effective decision making in the world is too often delayed or prevented by poor communication. I’m proud knowing our team works hard to produce high-quality, engaging and professional reports that address real issues in communities around the country.
What do you enjoy spending the most time doing in your free time?
I enjoy lifting weights, hosting people in my home, reading, and spending time outside with my husband and two sons.

Owner & CEO
With the rest of the management team, Morgan contributes to organizational and business development strategy at PC. Her experience as business leader and architectural designer contribute to her unique expertise as a project manager for PC’s land and property related analyses.
