Points Consulting recently completed a Housing Needs Assessment for the five counties in North Central Idaho. PC analyzed the market holistically including state and local housing and demographic trends, rates of in migration and population change over time, type, condition, affordability, and availability of housing (rental and owner occupied), as well as gaps and barriers to entry including zoning and land use regulations and lack of housing stock. PC also conducted In depth interviews with stakeholders, community drive throughs, and a citizen survey to gather real-time on the ground information for the best possible picture of current housing conditions in each county and their respective cities.
