Finishing a project, walking away for 3-6 months, coming back, and seeing conditions better than when I started working with that client.

Hopefully, its strapped to the exterior of a plane while its flying in the air. I also like to exercise since I am training for my 4th degree blackbelt, playing with animals, and cooking vegetarian food!

“Wealth is not a thing or a random sequence. It is inextricably rooted in hard won knowledge over extended time.”
– George Gilder
What’s the most inspiring part of your job?
I love writing, editing, and learning about diverse regions in the United States. Technical writing should be precise, clear, and enjoyable to read (and written by real humans for other humans). Effective decision making in the world is too often delayed or prevented by poor communication. I’m proud knowing our team works hard to produce high-quality, engaging and professional reports that address real issues in communities around the country.

I enjoy lifting weights, hosting people in my home, reading, and spending time outside with my husband and two sons.

“Nothing gives certainty but truth; nothing gives rest but the sincere search for truth.” – Blaise Pascal

Our research helps clients close the gap between ideals and reality – and I love research! I also enjoy honing my graphic design skills and the diversity of my role at PC. I’m never bored!
What do you enjoy spending the most time doing in your free time?
I like to draw comics and roller skate! Not at the same time though, and usually with epic music playing in the background.
