Recovery & Resiliency Planning in Western Pennsylvania

Recovery & Resiliency Planning in Western Pennsylvania

July 5, 2021

Points Consulting is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded the contract for an Economic Recovery & Resiliency Plan on behalf of The Southern Alleghenies Planning and Development Commission in Altoona, Pennsylvania. The SAP&DC represents six counties in the west-central area of the state.

We will be building a plan for the region regarding post-pandemic economic recovery and regional preparedness for the opportunities and challenges they may face in the years to come. The project will build upon our past work on the Hybrid Worker Feasibility Study, completed in 2020 in collaboration with Headlight Data. The building of this plan will involve a socioeconomic scan, best practices research, engagement with community members, a regional evaluation of the resiliency infrastructure, a remote worker strategy plan, and more. Keep an eye out for the final report this fall, we can’t wait to get started!
