Points Consulting has a new project to announce. We are working with Superior California Economic Development (SCEDD) located in Redding, to update their five-year and annual Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS) documents. CEDS planning is essential for ED districts to understand their primary community and economic issues, and have a clear idea of what tasks should focus on to propel their economies forward.
One of the things we are most excited about with this project is the process of doing fully-remote community engagement. At Points Consulting, we’ve developed a process adapted to the contact-free world of COVID. Results on our past few projects have been very positive.
If looking for more information on CEDS, the Economic Development Administration has a great summary document here: https://www.eda.gov/ceds/.
